Sherpa Wannabe Ear Warmer
1 ball Lion Suede
1 ball Bernat Soft Boucle
J (6.0) and I (5.5) hooks
Inner Layer
With I hook and Soft Boucle, ch 11.
1. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Ch 1, turn. (10 sc).
2. Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn. (10 sc).
Repeat row 2 until piece measures approx. 19.5 inches. Fold in half and sl st ends together. FO.
Outer Layer
With Lion Suede and J hook, ch 9.
1. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Ch 1, turn. (8 sc)
2. Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. (8 sc)
Repeat row 2 until piece measures approx. 21.5 inches, ch 1, do not turn.
72 sc evenly along side of ear warmer. Ch 1, sc in unused loops of beg ch, 72 sc even along other side. With wrong sides together, fold in half and sl st. ends together. FO, weave in ends.
Joining
With seams together, place inner layer inside of outer layer. Switch to J hook and Soft Boucle.
Join edge of layers together with sc in any st. Working in ends of rows of inner layer and sc edging of outer layer, sc around. (72 sc). Repeat for other edge of ear warmer. FO, weave in ends.
