thanks again!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for visiting. :)
I love this hat pattern. The thing I love the most about it is that it is easy to modify. I'm using it to make hats for my whole family for Christmas. :)
Thanks, Kathryn. I hope your family enjoys their hats. :)
I, too, have used this pattern for hats as Christmas gifts this year - thank you so much for posting this!!
Hi, Sarah! I hope your family enjoyed their hats. Thanks for using my pattern. :)
I love this! Any idea where I could find a pattern for knitting it?
I'm glad you like it, Cari. :) Your best for finding an knit earflap hat pattern is probably at knittingpatterncentral.com.
I noticed that you listed the crochet hook as a 9mm hook, letter M. I do not own an M hook and have never heard of an M hook, so I researched a little, and I think you have a typo - my 9mm hook is an N hook!
Thank you for this pattern, though - I can't wait to make this hat, it's right up my alley.
Hi, Tame. Sorry it's taken so long for me to publish your comment. We've moved recently and haven't had our internet access back for long. I believe the "N" hook used to be 9.0 mm. When the "M" hook was introduced, "N" got bumped to 10.0 mm. As long as your hook is 9.0mm, you'll be fine. The brand I used was Susan Bates Crystalites, if that helps. Thank you, and enjoy your hat!
Woo! Thanks for the response - I don't know whether or not I have a 9.0 mm hook, but now that I'm sure I'll be using the correct one, I will definitely be making this! So excited! Also, don't worry about taking so long, I'd actually forgotten all about posting this comment! :P
