Bobbled Kindle Sleeve

This sleeve will fit the 4th generation Kindle. It will not fit the Kindle Fire or any other generation.

1 ball Universal Yarns Classic Shades
G (4.0 mm) hook
Yarn needle

Gauge: 2 rows = 5"x1" - These instructions give a very snug fit. If your gauge is smaller than this, increase your hook size.

Ch 24.

1. Dc in 3rd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, (sc, 2dc) in next ch. Rep from * across to last 3 chs. Sk next 2 chs, sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.

2. (Sc, 2dc) in first sc. *Sk next 2 dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc. Rep from * across to last 3 sts. Sk next 2 sts, sc in last st. Ch 1, turn (25 sts).

3. Rep row 2 until piece measures 14 1/2 inches from beg.

Flap


4. Sl st in first sc and next 2 dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc. *Sk next w dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc. Rep from * across to last 5 sts, sc in next sc. Ch 1, turn.

5. (Sc, 2dc) in first sc. *Sk next 2 dc, (sc, 2dc) in first sc. *Sk next 2 dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc. Rep from * across to last (sc, 2dc) cluster of previous row, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn (16 sts).

6. (Sc, 2dc) in fist sc. *Sk next 2 dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc. Rep from * across to last 3 sts, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn (16 sts).

7. Rep row 6 until piece measures 17 1/2 inches from beg. FO.

Strap


Ch 6

1. (Sc, 2 dc) in 2nd ch from hook, sk next 2 chs, (sc, 2 dc) in next ch, sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.

2. (Sc, 2 dc) in first sc, sk next 2 dc, (sc, 2 dc) in next sc, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn (7 sts).

3-16: Repeat row 2.

4. Sc in each st across, FO.

With right sides tog, whipstitch the sides of the sleeve. Turn right side out and sew on strap.

I made one to fit my kindle fire I just used a I hook instead
